Does a missed item fall from Guru to Apprentice 3?

when i miss an item in guru i does it downrank to apprentice iii?

When you get items wrong at Guru 1 or above, it drops by 2 SRS stages. So if you get something at Guru 1, it will go down to Apprentice 3. If it’s at Guru 2, it’ll go down to Apprentice 4, and so on.

Could have sworn I generally see Guru I items drop to App 4, not App 3 - unless you make multiple mistakes on that item during the same review session of course.
Will pay closer attention next time - formula seems pretty clear on this point.
