Do you have this app?

I dont know how I did it, but I have this app on my phone

I’m not sure where I get it from but I love it, I would like to have it on my tablet but I just don’t remember how.

Do you guys have it or anything similar that I could download on my tablet?

Hey!

I use a third party app called ”Tsurukame” it’s my go to for when I need to do reviews anywhere or on the go! There are a few settings you could play with in the app in case you want to tailor your studies!

Hi! :sparkles: does it allow you to use the community forum too? I do a lot of book clubs mostly

Sadly it doesn’t =(
However the community browser works on phone (I don’t know about tablet) I’m myself currently using the browser while on my bed

Community forums would for sure be a really nice feature to be added to Tsurukame!

The ‘app’ you’re referring to is just the community forums site itself. When opening this site on chrome (on pc), I get a popup asking if I want to install.

On any mobile device or tablet, you should be able to open up the forums in your web browser, then use the browser menu (3 dots in top corner) and choose “add to homescreen”, or something along those lines.

You are right. I just got it on my tablet now. I didn’t realize it was the website because it doesn’t show you the regular top bars of the navigator or the link above. Thank you, that was a little embarrasing hehe.

So if it is just the website what is the popup offering you to install?

So it is just the website, but it also is an ‘app’.

A lot of websites now are classified as web apps. Generally, this means you get the option to ‘install’ the app. The app you install will just open the web page, but it will behave like an app in terms of appearing in its own window, having an app icon etc. instead of using the browser. This also usually means having some offline functionality and updating when internet connection is available.

So totally understandable confusion - or you could also consider it to be a legitimate app, just installed from the site.
