I got it after getting the “be on the lookout email”. Didn’t do anything to trigger it. Email times are an hour apart, so maybe time based?

The counter changed into a link, leading to a British durtle that refused to give us any access. The URL was a surveymonkey link that brought us to the current e-mail chain.

- Countdown ended and changed to a clue: Answer is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3
- Next level had the surveymonkey link in the URL.
- Completing the survey sends you an email
- In the Update Email Preferences link check the Uncle Durty Tim’s B7 Email Matsuri Extravaganza
- You get an email from Uncle Durty asking to verify that you are not a cop
- Copy this from the email, go back to the email preferences and put it in the Answer for Durtle Timothy
- You get a verification email
- Eventually you get the below email (I just now received it.)
- Now we keep guessing who 'dis? I think in the Answer for Durtle Timothy textbox

I was thinking about that, too. I could not find any Hawaiian folklore creature or similar that looks like this sculpture, though. 
What is the strange rock thing at the bottom?

The circle bit on the head fits. Are there any Durtles holding swords or clubs? Or with visible teeth? He did mention the face in the email.

They all have the circle on the head, but they also have a beak, so maybe it’s not a durtle?

The circle on their head looks like the plate on a Kappa’s head. The sculpture does not really look anything like a Kappa, though. 
edit: Overall, the durtles look an awful lot like some depictions of a Kappa.
