EDIT: I ran durt-ichi image through some stego software, didnāt find anything interesting except the image was created on 2019-02-17T03:27:4? Thatās just yesterday while we already have 70% of the riddles solved. Did we go too fast? Does squarespace reset image creation dates?

I think the 42 days are actually a coincidence. If we solved it a day later it would probably just have been 41. When we first discovered the page it was at 42 days, 4 hours and 20-something minutes. If that time difference would have been standard for the first person, then the April Fools would have been a massive coincidence. I choose to believe that the 42 days are a fun coincidence, the April Fools date is most likely on purpose.
