Wanikani’s finished! (For today)
Got all my studying done. My shoulders are in pain due to yesterday. They got all sunburnt. Luckily I have nowhere I need to be so I can just go about without a shirt on.

Didn’t feel like I did too well today, like I was getting a ton wrong. However the correct answer percentage was still in the 80s, so perhaps there was just a lot of tough words close together.

Don’t think I got any of the new words correct today. So I suppose it makes sense that I only got one new kanji. While I don’t want to take forever with learning Japanese, it’s not the worst feeling in the world knowing that my load for tomorrow isn’t as heavy.

Most of the new words I had today had to do with topic. I wonder if that word will end up like see and end up everywhere.

Nothing to much to add, other than the special turtle thing I got! Are these even turtles? I feel like they’re supposed to be kappa, but then the offerings show turtles.

The power went out last night, but I still have data so I’m still doing Wanikani, for as long as my phone lasts me anyways. Today just had to be a long day too, but luckily it’s all finished now.

Power’s back on, although the internet didn’t come with it. So while I’m doing my 日本語の勉強 on my computer, I’m having to still use data for it. At least I have air conditioning back!

Still not internet, although in more important news, I’m only two kanji away from my next level up. So pretty soon I’ll be at level 14!

It took me a long time today, precisely for one reason. I kept getting distracted. 
Ah well, at least I still got it all done today. Suppose I can be focused everytime with how many days I’ll have to do before I finish!

As I had predicted, I’ve leveled up! I’m level 14 now! Only one more level before I’m 25% of the way finished with Wanikani completely. 50% of the way until I stop making Wanikani pretty much my only source of Japanese learning too.

I learned all sorts of interesting words today. Such as 下着. Hopefully all of this studying won’t all be 待ちぼうけ. (I know that I’m not using that word quite right, but it’s one I learned today)

Probably the word that I’ll see the most that I learned today is 料理. It’s probably going to take me a bit to consistently remember the reading through, nothing of thst kanji combination means cooking to me.

Today is the beginning of the book club. So I’m going to take a little bit of a break and then start a brand new book. I don’t know much about it, but since Totsuba has a bit of a reputation it seems, I’ll be expecting good things from it.

Despite my apprehension of getting 200 reviews a day, I guess I’m getting used to the amount. Of course, it helps that I don’t have too much going on at the moment.

These days are getting longer and longer. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m going to have to slow down before I reach level 30.

I found myself hoping for less lessons today so that I could have some time to get used to all the new words that have been thrown at me. But nope, 15 more new words today to be tossed utop the pile.

It took longer today because it’s way too hot! I had to take constant breaks so that I could find a way to cool down. It must be over 100 degrees. My chair is soaked as a result. It’s really just way too hot.

Doing it a bit early today so I ended up having less reviews than usual. Of course that probably means that tomorrow is going to be super hard.

Toady I learned 人参. Yeah, I have no idea how that means carrot. I’m going to be getting that one wrong consistently for awhile I’m sure.
