This happens to me two or three times per week. Anyone else?
Reloading fixes it but it’s slow.

Our performance monitoring isn’t showing any indication this is a widespread event.
I am assuming you are only experiencing this when accessing on WaniKani?
Without knowing the entire context my first thought would be the DNS you are using is acting funky when trying to route to WK.
I would try maybe swapping the DNS to something like Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 or Google’s 8.8.8.8
Ok I switched to 1.1.1.1, will see if it helps thanks.
