Just my luck, I’m only just finding out about this Book Club when it’s my favorite series, and I coincidentally already had the whole raw collection and was on Volume 2! I feel like I missed the whole thing xD

Fortunately, all the various chapter threads are still available to read. And possibly post in, though we may need to request unlocking for a few of the oldest ones.

I’ll be getting my copy of the manga out of storage probably in February, and then I’ll be reading through it with the threads to guide me along. If I have any questions that I can’t figure out on my own, I’ll definitely be posting them, adding tidbits of thread activity. (Or just commenting on chapters so everyone who read the chapter a year ago is left scrambling to remember it to know what I’m talking about.)
Edit: (Regarding @Valara’s avatar), I have the manga adaptation of「凪のあすから」on my “to consider” list for reading =D

Well, here we are. The last chapter.
I actually went ahead and read it already. I had a lot of funny quips planned for this post, but now I just feel empty inside.
I have to say, this has been the longest commitment I’ve had to any book or series, and I loved it.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to stare in silence at a wall for a couple hours.

I was overseas the last 2 weeks and pre-read those two chapters before I went so I didn’t have to lug the book with me. But I couldn’t bear to finish it.
Tomorrow.
In the mean time - sending lots of hugs to everyone. This series and everyone who has commented on it has been a beautiful thread running through some otherwise rather difficult times in my life, and I suspect I will miss it a lot.

It feels so weird reading everyone reaching the end when it’s two and a half weeks before I expect to have my set of books out of storage. I might have to start reading sooner rather than later so I can post comments/questions in the appropriate threads starting in February…

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, so forgive me if not. Whenever I click to link for volume 1’s vocab on google docs, I get an error message saying “a server errror occurred. Please press ‘reload’ in your browser.” Reloading just has me running into the same error again. It seems it’s only volume 1 this happens on. Can anyone help out?
Hmm, I seem to be able to access it just fine 
Which web browsers have you tried loading the vocabulary sheet in? Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache? If you’re on a desktop computer or laptop, try holding the Shift key and clicking on the browser’s reload/refresh button when trying to view the vocabulary sheet.
Thank you very much, after clearing the cache (I should have guessed), that fixed the problem perfectly. Cheers
