I’m studying to be able to take the AP Japanese exam in May, and I hope to have learned enough kanji by then. Has anyone taken the exam in the past, or have an idea on how to prepare for it?
AP Japanese is equivalent to first year uni?
I think so, getting a 4 or 5 (Which means an B or A in terms of grades) can actually get you college credit. In my state, there’s even a Seal of Bi-literacy you can get if you do really well.
In terms of Kanji, levels 18-20 (maybe less) will likely cover everything you need considering a lot of unis use Genki has their textbook and iirc those levels cover whats in those books.
