Abstormal Cave ⛈️

This is something I’ve wanted since moving in!
Only 10 years after buying it did I finally find a good place to do it and fint the help to get it done. Better late than never, right?

I got a doggy dor to go outside, and a much smaller cat door so the dogs can not get in there (not even tiny tott Nala, cause it is a big high up)
Kili is a HUGE cat, but cats are little escape artists. Uf theur head fits, they get through! He not only fit, but so smart he figured it out instantly without even shiwing him how to do it
Frodo too. Sam needed a bit convincing but did learn first day. Mew took a few days. Note: Eevee is not even in that area. Mew is usually with Eevee, but get to go oit with the boys in the daytime. Night time and while I’m out he is with Eevee.

The dogs needed more time. Zelda figured it out after a day, but the other two was scared of the flapp. I secured the flap in a open position for a week, then pushed them through back and forth untill they realized the flapp can easilly be moved if they just push on it. It helped, now they all run in and out as much as they want

I let the cats be out all night, since they can now retreat inside if they get cold. The area outside is fenced in so safe for them all. And thiugh super hard to get over (extra high fence on second floor) I don’t trust to leave the door open. I have done it when home, but didn’t sleep well when I did.
Now they got the option to go out day and night, any weather and even in winter (when too cold to leave the door open)

The dogs sleep in my bed. Partly cause I want to, partle cause I have to. If the cats run and play it triggers them to bark. Can’t let them bark at night ^^;

Eevee 24.4.2006 - 14.7.2024

My precious baby girl passed away this morning :frowning:
She was 18 years old, and her health has been on a decline.
I’ve had her since birth. She was born in my lap, and she died in my lap.

She has been with me my entire adult life.
Even though I have many other pets, no one can fill the void she left. The oldest remaining pet is not even half her age. Most are under 1/3 her age.

She was the last link to my mother, the only one she had met (and lived with for 8 years even) My mother passed 10 years ago, and Eevee was ny great comfort through that time.

We had the strongest bond. She was my precious. I live my other pets, but there is always that one who just steals yoir heart completely

I’m very sorry this happened.
Eevee was an absolutely wonderful cat with great musical abilities (I was very deeply impressed by that video of her as a kitten playing a thriller music on a keyboard) and we will all miss her.
She was your family member, and losing a family member is always extremely hard, I know this from experience. Please, accept my sincerest condolences.

One thing that might be able to help you get through this – is the fact that she had a great long and happy life with you. She was very lucky to have such a responsible, loving and caring owner as you.
May all the other members of your wonderful pet fam also live long and happy lives with you! love

I’m sorry for your loss :people_hugging:

I made the tough decision to rehome one of my cats, Sam.
I took him in as a 5 year old who needed a new home. He is so beautiful and super sweet.
I gave it a full year, but he just wasn’t thriving.
He didn’t bond with any of the other cats, and kept to himself. Kili and Frodo sometimes gave him a hard time too, not fighting, but he took their attempts to play as attacks.
The only cat he went well with was Eevee.
Since her passing he was just misserable.

He loves attention when I searched him up, but he kept hiding cause of the other cats so didn’t come to me. I managed to find a home where he can be the only pet and get all the attention. Now he should be able to thrive.

Lots of cute photos of Sam

My current babies (all cats and dogs)

Frodo, Mew, Kili, Zelda, Midna, Nala

3 cats and 3 dogs – a purrfect balance!

I’m very sorry he was unable to make friends with your other pets, I think your decision, as hard as it must have been, is the right one.

May he find happiness in his new home!
And may all your other pets always live in peace and harmony with you and each other!

Last week I was on summer camp again (same as last years)
Skeiv Funkis Sommerleir - Queer Disabled Summer Camp

It was a BLAST!! Just love it!
Got some great friends last year, met most of them again this year. There were new people as well who I feel I got a good connection with and hope to see again =D

It is a summer camp for adults (not exclusively, believe one of the people I hung with last year was underage) Not sure what the ages are, but most seemed to be 20-40, with some being older. Not sure we had younger this year.
I was on the Drag and Burlesque group, where we learn how to move in sexy ways, some coreogrophy and drag makeup (both king and queen)
And the main attraction is a show on the Saturday (camp is Monday-Sunday)
Last year I met a new friend who I noined up with and we were seen as the most “explosive” act (super energetic) and put near the end. This year they put us dead last before we even decided what song, knowing we could pull it off again

The show is a huge mix of amatures (like myself, I’m just having fun) and actually very talanted people.

The camp itself is just super inclusive and great at fulfilling everyones needs. You feel safe there, not mater your queernes or disability. No one judges (or if they do know to keep it to themselves)
The mask (autistic masking) can be droped and just play and have pure fun.

I felt a bit worn out after, and then this morning got told someone tested positive for corona.
This is the first time I even test myself, never needed it before (I can be a hermit at times =P )
It was positive. So yay, my first round of the Rona. Luckilly vaccinated, inckuded boosters as late as last November. I already feel better and only got very mild symptoms.

I’m very glad you like it at that camp, may you have many more happy times there!
And I’m very sorry to hear you’ve got the Virus, but I’m glad it’s only mild. May it get healed soon and may there be no scary side effects!
May the Great Cat of Health purrotect you and those around you, including your meowgnificent pet fam! love2

Nice story ! Good to see you around. :person_cartwheeling:

I keep thinking “oh I should share this” and oh I need to document this so I can put it on WK forum, but then never get around to it

I’m rarely here anymore, but you are often in my mind.
I’ve fallen off my reviews, eternally lvl 59 now for a few years O_o
And usually when I fall of reviews I fall of the forum more and more too…

I’m a lifer,so might just restart again.
Not cause I can’t handle the current load, but cause I’ve forgotten enough to maybe need a refresher ^^;
The ones I remember will gho away easilly enough anyway =D

Anyway, been a very rough time since last I was here.
It all started back in July, just after my belowed Eevee passed.
I own half of a house, with both partions have two appartments (one bigger to live in and a smaller to rent out)
I knew the guy I rented out to was trouble, but struggled to get him to leave. In July it started to escelate, and in September he gave me in writing that the appartment is so badly kept it is unlivable, so I could evict him. I gave him a normal eviction, with 3 whole months to leave. He decided to dispute it, with the most redicouls dispute letter ever (basically confirmed everything, yet denied to leave). Sadly just the fact that he DID dispute it meant we had to go to court. He then escelated so bady I had to call the cops on him several times, report him and escelate to force eviction. Still took longer than his original 4 months, and only got evicted in February. Even though he got the eviction notice from court in January, he waited till they forced him out. Left most of his stuff. He was given 3 weeks to pick it up, which he did not.

The appartment was so badly ruined insurance wouldn’t even cover it. It was done by malicious neglect, which they don’t cover. Didn’t get a dime. They DID pay for court though!

I’ve now såent the last two months trying to fix what I can. Kitchen had to be thrown out compåletely. The floor we thought we had to rip out, but had a profesional over to evaluate and he recomended just polish it and åaint it with floor paint instead. It was a very strong wooden floor and just looked horrible now, but most of it was surface level. Lots of marks, niks and cuts. Had to seal some up an plish of lots of shit stuck to it. Washed of what looked like a crime scene (pretty sure that was a pool of blood O_o )

We have painted all the walls, ceiling and floor with the best sealant they had, and then repaint it. Had an interior designer neighbour helppick colors =D

We got a brand new kitchen, changed the shower, bathroom sink (cracked) and so on.
The only thing I didn’t change was the toilet (but tempted, it feels ikky XD )
Waiting for the guy who helped with the floor. He will change a broken window and door next week,.
Then just final touches and we are done! =D

I also moved all my books from the stairwell where I used to have them, to a room in my appartment. Had to do a lot of moving around to get it to fit, they’ve been there for a reason. I didn’t really have space for them inside, and most people left them alone. I lost a good number of books to the ass hat, so just don’t want to have them out there anymore. The frontdoor is locked, but tennants can be theievs too -_-
He also stole my scooter, probably both (found proof of one)

But I’m glad I found a way to fit them in one of my rooms. Now I can make that into my hobby room =D
The walls are all a library, and middle of floor I can use a table with flaps, so it is out of the way when not in use (Ikea table, Norden )

It used to be the rodant room, but found a way to combine cat and rodants safely. The rodant cages are inside a bigger cage, with a blanket over for privacy.

I’ll share some photos later. I’ll show some before and after shots of the appartment once ready to put it up for rent. Hopefully later this month.

I’m very sorry you had to deal with such a horrible tenant…
May your next tenant be nyaaaaaaaaaaaice and respectful purrson who wouldn’t give you any purroblems! love2

It is so nice to see you. I have thoughts on your adventure, which will wait until morning. :sunrise_over_mountains:

That sounds like a terrible and stressful experience. I’m so glad you have managed to repair the damage, and having a hobby room sounds amazing.

Oh I said I was gonna be more active, but been a busy summer.

Got a new tenant
A very nice couple from Ukraine :ukraine:

And today I actually just got a new dog, also from Ukraine! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

My sister bought two Yorkie pups in January, just before their first birthday. They grew up in Ukraine and their breeder escaped to Norway. The dogs had just passed quarantine and could finally be sold. The money was gonna be spent on the cost of getting the parent dogs also moved to Norway.

This summer one of the sisters started attacking the other. After trying to make it stop and talking to a trainer it was decided one needed to live alone. The other one is social and should live with other dogs. She came to me two weeks ago while looking for a new home for her. She bonded with my dogs and quickly became one if the pack

Today we decided to let her stay here :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Her name was Lola. I found Lola and Nala struggled to hear the difference, so had to rename her. She will be called Leeloo. Close enough for her to learn fast, different enough for them to tell the difference.

So meet sweet Leeloo the yorkie. 1.5 years old.

It’s so great to hear again from you!
Thank you for not forgetting about your WK friends! love

Also, what a ワンderful addition to your petfam! love2

These photos are unbearably cute! I love all the expectant faces looking up at you! Well done for adopting that gorgeous little dog.

Very scary to run into this crew in a dark alley.

Frodo was a bit weak late last night and had no interest in food. I got him to the vet at opening hours this morning. It was quickly discovered by palpatation alone that his kidneys was shot. They drew some blood and his kidney values was so high the machine couldn’t even register it properly. There was nothing that could be done and he had to be put to sleep.

He showed no signs till it was too late. Most of these photos was from 6 days ago. He was still full of life, jumping, climbing, cuddling, purring up a storm and not a single thing suggesting he was getting sick.

8 years was not enough :broken_heart:
