Uhoh, we’re all gonna show up in some stupid AI research paper soon.

“Divide and Conquer: Using AI to subvert online discourse”

Everyone smile.

Tbh, I have no clue what the OP wants, but here’s my two cents anyway.

On your keyboard, find the ‘O’ key and press it. Boom, perfect circle.

Also, sorry my comment isn’t as detailed as some of the others here, not feeling well atm, but I’m pretty sure your question has been answered @anon37645119

Perhaps the message from OP is that mnemonics can be better. Or otherwise use Romaji?

But almost certainly, using Romaji as quiz answers won’t be encouraged by WaniKani. Mnemonic editing, maybe, but it may also mess up Japanese pronunciation… (Also Kana => Romaji has one answer with a romanization scheme specified, but multiple Romaji answers can be converted to the same Kana – for example, shichi = siti = しち, and some may not preserve phonetics in addition.)

Does WaniKani have any prerequisites?

Not for the beginning.

But, they expect you to learn Hiragana before the first Kanji quiz, which won’t be unlocked until some Radicals get Guru’d, that is, at least 3 days.

Yeah, some of this reads like op thinks they need to handwrite the input

The guide tells you to learn hiragana BEFORE starting WaniKani. Please re-read the guide.

And once you know hiragana, romaji will look quite silly, if not downright unhelpful.

If you only want to learn and remember meanings (without having to input them, although I must stress that is very important to learning), then I suggest using Anki instead!
