uhmm I don’t really think it’s a good idea though cause I procrastinate a lot, but for a good benchmark, I would say 8 - 10 days/level is good. The optimal duration is 7.5 days/ level (that’s the minimum time wanikani requires to level up for normal levels. Some levels would be faster but that’s the general duration), oh and you need to be very consistent in your study.
9:41PM, final review sessions. 207 reviews and 3 radicals done. A bit tired today. Finally lv40 after a month at least I’m making progress haha Still :onfiremode:
Minimum time would be 6d20, actually
That requires ridiculous amounts of dedication, including waking up in the middle of the night to do reviews/lessons, so not recommended.
7d is the max reasonable speed (lots of dedication, but at least you get a good night sleep)
10:15 AM. Great Saturday morning as I spend my time on Wanikani instead of playing game actually I will play some after writing this post, but that’s hell of an improvement 40 lessons learned and ~100 reviews. on super ふぁいいあああ aka fire
6:41 PM. 96 reviews. I will try to do one more review session today.
11:05 PM. End of Saturday omg have to get back to work soon :(( so sadddd ~50 reviews done, a bit lazy.
Goodness, this is the first time I’ve seen this topic and it really made me feel happy for you when I read through the whole thread. What a great way to track your progress.
First ~60 reviews of day. I have to learn other things aka grammar, word choice in JLPT test, etc and doing too much Wani at once feel a bit overwhelmed so I decide to split review sessions into two. I will try to solve all reviews this morning.
Afternoon comes. Oh boi, I’m back on track!
10:20PM. After 4 hours vocab/grammar learning, a bit exhausted to get back on Wani. I managed to do some reviews and learn the last 4 remaining kanjis. Maybe after a long time I’m able to finish a level in 7.5 days. Let’s keep the spirits high!
7:54PM. Another great review session! ~70 review done. I will try to do one more before going to sleep.
10:20PM. Comeback from the super try hard mode for the JLPT test this December and do some wani reviews to end the day. Feeling good lahh…
edit: reading back some posts when I started doing wanikani and it has been more than a year and half with this app. So many things have happened I will save it for my great commencement speech when I reach lv60. Wanikani is certainly the first app that I’ve committed so much time, effort and force aka encourage myself to overcome laziness, procrastination that I often used to. Now I think that I finally find myself in the flow. Hopefully, I’m able to keep up with my full speed like this after the JLPT December test and finish my Wanikani goal this year!
6:46 AM. 60 reviews done. I want to learn some vocab but I really have to go now so …
9:01 PM. Last review session of the day. Today I feel a bit tired after work and the temptation to be lazy watching films suddenly came up, but I managed to solve all reviews ~120 reviews to keep the record straight
Things start getting a bit harder as I well, as usualam falling into the lazy trap “shit you must be the weird dude who always somehow getting lazy, then out of laziness, post some great motivation shit-post, then get back to the trap, then get out, then then… well you get the drill” folks said to aanhlle
oh, I will try to do some reviews, and you should, too. RIGHT NOW!
11:00 PM. Solve all kanjis and try to do review some new vocabs. My stats look bad cause I was lazy yesterday, but I will try to get back and focus as much as I can as the JLPT test is to come. My work is getting super busy this month and in December, must keep the spirits high
