Hi everyone. I got to level 2 of wani a few days ago. The experience was great by the way. I start this topic to mark my progress everytime I level up. Hope I can make it to 60 and far more (like the levels for the missing Kanjis, though it is too early for me to say this  ). About myself: I started learning Japanese about 2 years ago and got JLPT N4 last December. I’m currently studying for N3 and plan to take it in July. Although I decide to commit to Wani a bit late but I have learned (or re-learned  ) some great words I don’t know till now. I wish to make friends with everyone who is using Wani. Hope we can make progress everyday. Nice to meet you. edit 1: about 1 year later I got N3 edit 2: about 1 year and a half later after the year in edit 1 I got N2. edit 3: at some point the title of this thread became “When the tenth month comes”. Why that weird title? well When the Tenth Month Comes is a very famous film in my country, and I love the film. Also, October 2020 is the time I expect to reach level 60. edit 4: well sadly 10 months later, I couldn’t finish Wk in October xD, but I’m determined to finish Wk for sure. Let’s see how long it takes. I’m at level 55 when editing this. edit 5: on January 27, 2021 (1383 days later since I started) I reached level 60 .

I put my account on vacation. But I’m not on vacation, it’s just I’m being a bit lazy again (mainly because of starting to play Dota 2. I feela bad)

Dota 2 eats so much time… I spent a big chunk of my college years on it, played close to 2000 games and I still sucked. If I won, I’d go “I’m on a roll, I’ll win more and increase my rank, just one more game”. If I lost, it would be: “I need to regain my rank, just one more game”. Shudders Run while you still can.

I’ve un/reinstalled that game for 8 times, literally speaking.

argg I’m back, I can’t handle this laziness anymore!!! edit: 3 days later [image] I will level up tomorrow some words I get wrong for like 10 times: 妨害 / 評判

[image] lv34 with 191 reviews, ya one hundred ninety one reviews. okay let’s just cheer for now… *edit: wtf is this radical “堇” looks like a kiln? [image]

[image] by magic, somehow…actually big thanks to the energy from the great folks here [image] Give me some energy to keep going つ ◕_◕ ༽つ WaniKani Hi, I leveled up to 34 two days ago. Some of you who follow my posts would know that I’m a typical procrastinator ヽ༼ಢ_ಢ༽ﾉ. I manage to level up to this high is somehow magical and I actually had 2 posts about motivation and such in the forums. I just put my account on vacation the second time this month. Sadly speaking, now the procrastination cycle has shown up again I don’t really know what I want when I make this post. Maybe I just need some energy つ ◕_◕ ༽つ from you guys and some cheers to…

[image] Day 3.6 at lv34. First review session of the day. Everything is fine. Looks like I’ve recovered from the procrastination mood. edit 2: [1] so there are only 1000 words left, lol

[image] I’m gonna level up tomorrow. Maybe from this level my progress would be quite slow as I’m beginning a fulltime job next week. Lucky for me the job requires to read lot’s of technical japanese so maybe my reading skills would be brushed up. Still, I’m very worried with my Listening skills as I would have very little time to practice this skill. Very scary if I want to retake N2 this December.

[image] so many lessons pile up, but I think I can only do reviews. Wish that my speed would not be super sloooowww as I start to work full time next week. I had worked full time before but this one would be my hard core and I’m really excited and serious about it, so… [image] I begin to work full time, how should I do Wanikani in an effective way? WaniKani Hm… to each their own wink I like the anki flash-card method, but kept finding myself coming back to WK for the UI, community, and gamification of it all. So, I found a good balance that works for me.

[image] First week into full time work, I manage to learn all kanjis today and will try to solve all reviews, too. [image]
