I did it. Pimsleur is done. All 5 levels, all 150 lessons. I still need to complete 8 voice coach exercises to get the level 5 certificate, but I should wrap that up this week.
Thank you everyone for the motivation. Special shout out to @Lisaveeta. Well done on getting to the second half (more than halfway through Level 3) at such a blistering rate.

Have to confess I haven’t been doing the voice coaching exercises - do you recommend them?

Kanae keeps complimenting RPR every time they happen to meet. RPR is from Croatia and is/was(?) one of the best EU Apex players. And from what I understand he got inspired to learn JP from seeing how high-level the gaming community is in Japan, especially among vtubers.
And so, a Kanae fan posted this old vod on twitter and the communication between Kanae and RPR is adorable. RPR just got into learning JP and Kanae is not very good at ENG 
But with the help of multilingual chat, they somehow make it. Very passion English/JP. Feels kind of weird to count it in as listening hours. But they’re both teaching each other, both language and game play. It’s very fun.

They are needed for the certificate, but other than that they can be useful to get more practice for some tough phrases. The recognition software is a bit finicky though- sometimes if you say it too fast or too slow it will mark it as wrong.
