Listened to Daily with Naoko’s episode titled “Things are tough nowadays” set in Spain, but oddly enough the tough things she talked about was about Japan society and rules.
New words/phrases learned:
- 日が昇る「ひがのぼる」verb form for 日の出
日が沈む「ひがしずむ」verb form for 日の入り - 街灯「がいとう」street lamp
- ボロボロ tattered
- 路上「ろじょう」on the road, on the street
- 許可「きょか」permission, approval
- 苦情「くじょう」complaint
