I replied to a different comment about Jisho in the other thread, so I won’t repeat it here. Not intended to be accusatory, just information about Jisho for anyone who isn’t familiar.

To be fair, it’s not like Jisho is an authoritative source or anything. It’s not really “Jisho” either, it’s JMDict, the dictionary database that Jisho uses. You, or anyone else, could submit a change to JMDict and that change would take effect on Jisho without anyone at Jisho having any say about it. But there is a panel of people who review proposed changes, so you’d have to offer a compelling case for any change.
