I’m going pretty fast through the dialogues in this game so maybe I misunderstood something but I was under the impression that he said he tried to scare it away (I think he used the term 威嚇) so I assumed that he fired warning shots and not straight at it. Honestly starting to fire at something without obvious threat would be insane IMO, the game isn’t meant to be set in America and at any rate they all explicitly say that the apparition is white!
I figured I would’ve cleared it from my texthook logs, but luckily I didn’t.

Yeah I certainly did not get the impression this soldier is competent, at all. The commander or whoever we talked to seemed like he intended to ease up but maybe they need to go back over some training basics instead.
Slow to finish this part, but I did it! Along with the lighthouse quest. And fishing and gambling. The character count is great btw, I just had a lot of family/work things going on this past week.
I was VERY EXCITED for the fishing mini game tyvm. Seems like the rules are basically the same as animal crossing, which is fine by me. I got the second rod from the casino and found a fishing spot by the hidden pirate treasure. Caught 2 octopi. Can’t really tell the difference between the two rods though, more experimentation needed!
ケビン seems like a solid guy. He gives off “secret Vatican agent posing as a normal priest” kind of vibes. While he might be in conflict with Estelle at some point, being able to fight with him in our party makes me even more sure that he’s going to be an important ally later.
レン and her overly dressed up stepford family is much more suspicious. Saying 「ムー」 with a flat face, and also gloating to Estelle about having a perfect mom and dad that obviously contrasted Estelle’s situation. She’s definitely evil.
They just directly ask you to fight them to prove that they’ve gotten stronger since fighting Estelle in the tournament. It gets funnier because when Shera does her sexy “I’ll take care of you ;)” whip whip bit, they say that fighting women will disgrace them as men or something. They still fight you but I was like my dudes, this was your idea! This is why y’all are hanging out in an abandoned warehouse.
Full health rez!? Mine just did like… 1200 hp or so. They were rezzing each other the moment they went down, but it was still more time consuming than dangerous.
