I tried to go to the onsen last week and you can visit the town but the onsen proper is closed for cleanup.

Yeah you’ve played ahead a little. You can take Tita outside of town as long as you don’t go to Elmo. (I think specifically you’re fine until you go into the inn, but to be on the safe side just don’t head into town.) quest monster will need killing before then, I’mma put a thing in next week’s post so every one can see then.

Haha, okay this localization was pretty good again, gotta share it:
(I still find Trails in the database to be a great tool. I look up a short, unique string of words from the scene, and I immediately find the whole dialogue section, which I can then dictionary-lookup with Yomitan, and check the localization to see if I got the rough meaning correct. And I got nothing spoiled since you can select the game.
Also helps me speed up catching up to you guys by not trying too hard to slowly understand everything by myself. I can slow down once I’ve caught up)
I actually obliviously zoomed past last week’s ending because I was enjoying exploring Zeiss so much, haha.
I’m noticing more and more that Trails loves to use expressions / idioms.
I’ve already added 36 expressions that I didn’t know just from Trails FC so far.

Yeah, it has been useful… but a bit unfortunately the voice cast is almost completely different in the remake, so hearing these PS Vita voices is a bit jarring. I’ve grown accustomed to the remake voices for ~60 hours now…
クローゼ’s original VA is very recognizable, she also plays 橘 あゆみ in ファミコン探偵倶楽部. I could recognize the voice from first clip I played… and I’m not at all deep into 声優 lore.
The original VA for エステル sounds very childish compared to the remake, but I guess it’s just a matter of getting used to it. I guess I should get prepared, I’m not going to wait for the remake for SC.
