涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 Home Thread (Intermediate Book Club)

Once we have a time picked (for this week at least) could you put it in the OP of this thread, @seanblue?

And note there are two reading groups?

Like

Team West: Sat 5:30pm EST (and link it to that event link)
Team Japan: Sunday

I have a feeling we won’t have a static time at Team West, but if it’s a link where I can keep modifying the event, the link would always have the accurate time.

It somehow seems like it’d maybe be a better idea to ask @Naphthalene , since they’re the one that made this thread

Mistaken assumptions are mistaken

It’s a wiki though, isn’t it? Doesn’t that mean any of us could edit it and include the times when they’re decided? I don’t mind putting in the 2nd groups time when we manage to decide on one. :stuck_out_tongue:

I didn’t write anything~ :notes:

We’ve renegotiated our Team West time: Event Time Announcer - Haruhi Reading
5:30 EST/4:30 Central. (that’s -5 and -6 GMT respectively.)

I’ve also input it into the Google Doc and updated it with the teams. ^^

EDIT (NOW, 4 hours after original post): Hey, we’re in the voice chat, waiting for Time.
We might get started soon, because we can’t see @Time.

OH! Since Sean had changed my edit to the main Book Club OP/Wiki… I thought he had the powers. I didn’t actually look at who made it. XD

Sorry! XD

It isn’t. Only has the regular edit button. (And I tried anyway. Nope. No can do.)

Or @Naphthalene, could you at least put the Google Doc in the OP? As it will have times for both groups (I’ve set it for anyone with Link can View and Edit.)

I made the OP into a wiki
I didn’t follow the conversation, so I leave it to you all :cold_sweat:

I can’t do Sundays for now because of my current schedule. So if both of you can do Sunday, it’s probably best to Sunday

Okay, thanks.
I’ll grab some stuff and put it… where on the page do you think is good?

EDIT: Okay, I put it after the Reading Schedule - after I collapsed it. Is that okay?

It is Sunday now so this week can’t be helped anymore, but I think while Sunday was @StarLi 's preferred day, it’s not that she can’t do Saturday? Unless I misinterpreted that. For me either day should work, I just cannot do too late at night.

If you only can do Saturday and we both can do either, it would be good to do it in Saturday I think.

You’re right. I have StarLi down as “Either”. (Looked at my spreadsheet.)

Yeah, I can do Saturday, I just prefer Sunday.

Can you not do Sundays at all or would Sunday morning be possible? @StarLi as well, how about you? The other group met at 9am Japan times today, which is a pretty good time imo.

If not, we shall keep separate and do the Saturday. :sunglasses:

7am. You finished at 9am.

And to be clear, it’s 7am Sunday. :slightly_smiling_face:

At 7 am, which is a less good time imo. :stuck_out_tongue: Still manageable though. Thanks! I thought you’d started at 9.

Oh, I did, in my time zone, but only because I missed the first hour. :stuck_out_tongue:

I often have iaido practice on Sunday mornings, so I don’t think I’d be able to do it.

If everyone can do Saturday night, Saturday is cool.

and an FYI: something came up suddenly and I’ll be returning to Texas from July 31-Aug 21. I may temporarily join the US reading club during those weeks.

Let’s do Saturday then! For me the earlier the better, but preferably evening. Do you guys have a preference for time? Also, should we just skip this week’s reading?

Also @LucasDesu

I work during the weekends. So any time on Saturday after 7 pm should be fine. I’m sorry for my bad availability.:cold_sweat:

So, is Team West doing a reading at the same time this week? I’d just like to know before I set the alarm for 8am on a Sunday.

I’ve photocopied this week’s reading to double-size so that I can scribble notes on it. Not saying that I will, just that I can. :slightly_smiling_face:
