正直な気持ち - what is the function of な here?

Is な “attached” to 正直 because 正直 is acting as a な-adjective?

Just wondering because 正直な気持ちwas given as an example for 気持ち but seems to have more to do with the adjective.

Yes. 正直 is describing 気持ち, and it needs a な when you do that.

It’s a little weird that WaniKani groups those usages under ~な気持ち, because it’s entirely identical to the ~気持ち grouping above, except now they’re な-adjectives instead of い-adjectives.

Huh. This post made me realise my PC was using Chinese characters. The ‘jiki’ was looking different.

Same here, on chrome. It seems my custom font settings had been reset. Must have been recently.
