Is な “attached” to 正直 because 正直 is acting as a な-adjective?
Just wondering because 正直な気持ちwas given as an example for 気持ち but seems to have more to do with the adjective.

Yes. 正直 is describing 気持ち, and it needs a な when you do that.
It’s a little weird that WaniKani groups those usages under ～な気持ち, because it’s entirely identical to the ～気持ち grouping above, except now they’re な-adjectives instead of い-adjectives.

Same here, on chrome. It seems my custom font settings had been reset. Must have been recently.
