As the only daughter of the Kingdom of Gohwa, Yona was carefully raised by her kind father, the king, and her childhood friend and guard, Hak. On Yona’s 16th birthday, she receives a hairpin from her cousin Suwon, whom she has been in love with, and goes to her father to express her feelings. However, she meets an unexpectedly harsh fate!

This will be the hardest volume of this edition of the Speed Run Book Club, but you’ve gone so far already, it’s almost there now!

Hint! Maybe because of the velocity of reading, the speed run pace, i found that i didn’t connect as strongly as to the previous ones, but hey, I made it in time! Finished the fifth volume C:

I’ll try to get as much in as I can, but I’ve got d&d tonight, so probably won’t get past vol 2 at most. Glad you enjoyed, even if this volume wasn’t your favorite of the bunch
