床 vs 階, what's the difference?

I’ve wanted to know the difference between these two Kanji, both mean ‘floor’ but they have different uses.
I think I might have a slight idea that maybe 階 (かい) means like a building floor/level and 床 (ゆか) just means any floor or maybe a natural floor maybe.
I just reached lv 12 and I need help plz!

You’ve got it. 3rd floor would use Kai. Yuka is the floor

In cases like that jisho is your friend to get the secondary concepts

(bed, counter for beds, floor, padding, tatami)

vs

(storey, stair, counter for storeys of a building)

床 is a flat surface in a house where you walk on, or where you lay down to sleep.

階 is a volume in a house limited downside by a floor and upside by a ceiling.
