I wasn’t sure about this one after I got the green during review, so I opened the meaning. Good thing I checked, I used undo script to force an error, but this should be fixed.

“Begin” and “end” are surprisingly only three letters different, so they’re close enough for the “close enough”.

Wanikani tries to be forgiving for typos, so it lest words that are “close enough” pass so you don’t lose progress if you accidentally type “to bein something” or simiilar.
Sometimes it’s too forgiving, like when it decides that “end” must be a typo of begin.
There’s a long standing thread for this where people point out examples of typo correction going too far or being misleading, and then the mods can add it to the blacklist so it won’t be considered a typo in the future.
