That is a good straw for moon juice
The random details in magical stuff they do feels nostalgic of when you were a kid imaging if clouds were candyfloss and stuff which is very nice (the moon having different flavours depending on what stage it’s at)
Oo life lessons about darkness maybe it’ll help Mira in her dark state thing

Took a break from this group for work reasons, but now I’m back! I’m a little behind the pace since I’m currently reading episode 23. Here are my thoughts on the episodes I’ve finished. Also, I noticed that not many people are posting, but I’m determined to finish out the series! This group keeps me accountable, so thank you for continuing to post the weekly chapters!
I knew this book would include more of the black haired girl, but she was kind of mean this chapter. I mean I understand why since she thinks she is alone and that no one can understand her, but still be nice to my Mira! It was funny to see Mira so nervous to talk to Allude (?) and then it turned very sad when they were fighting. It was sad to see her leave without really being able to hang out and have fun, but Mira asked to become friends so that suggests future chapters maybe.
I have to start with the hilarious drawing of Rei on the episode cover, like his hair! So funny!
It’s sweet that Rei is constantly thinking about Mira and what could make her happy.
I love learning more about Rei. I think he is such an interesting character (and very beautiful lol). It only took 4 books to finally see what his teacher/mentor looked like, but it was bittersweet since we learned that he is sick and old which is really sad. This series seems to have a lot of themes of cycles and this chapter showed the cycle of master teaching pupil and then pupil becomes the master to another pupil. I wonder if the last book will be Mira as an adult taking on her own pupil. That would be a really great ending theme-wise for the series.
I LOVE STELLA! She is like the fun aunt who shows up to take you fun places and give you fun things. Her relationship with Mira is adorable to see. This chapter also added to my list of foods/drinks that have been in these books that I really want to try, like sweet lemon water that shines like the moon? Count me in!
Mira is so sweet in this chapter. She is having fun and enjoying herself, but she still remembers Capri and brings back a stone to send to him.
I called the black haired girl Aldi. Like, the grocery store…
