That is an excellent point! I have added it.
Sorting by frequency is a bit naff, because every incidence of a word has its own row. Might be cool to add a frequency tab that has a clean frequency list

That is a cool feature, so if you miss the first instance you’re not stuffed like in jpdb!
That’s a great idea! I wouldn’t know how to do it in google sheets, but I think Excel has a feature to identify duplicates… I don’t know if it will also do a duplicate row removal based on that, but let me know if it would be helpful and I could play around with it and try.
You say that now… just wait till you see 部屋 for the five millionth time!
Frequency tab is live as well. Found the ‘remove duplicates’ option in Google Sheets in the end.
For those reading on kindle:
here is the schedule given in the first post, translated into kindle locations. The average number of locations per week is 206.
And we’re off!
This is very useful, thanks! Is it possible to have these added to the weekly reading posts to go along with pages and percent?
just to clarify - the “location” is the start location, the #loc is the number of locations read that week, and the % is the percentage at the end of the week (I think).
はい。
そうですね。
That would have to be done by @ekuroe.
Thanks for the useful data! I’ve added them to the OP of this thread and the Week 1 thread.
Week 2 thread is up!
@ekuroe disappeared before week 3.
Let’s find the floorplan of his house to figure out what happened to him.
EDIT: oh you did post it, you just didn’t make a comment here so I didn’t get a notification:
Sorry!! I’m on a ski trip and quite distracted. I posted from mobile
Week 4 thread is up!
Starting late, but just got the book on Kindle!
I remember seeing this as a book option before (I think through Natively’s mystery book club?) and was interested in it so I’m glad it’s running now and I get the chance to join in time.
No pressure, but do you need a hand setting up a page for week 5?
Thanks, but just posted!
Percentages in Bookwalker is off like 10% ahead. To be exact – 11% / 20% / 30% / 42% / 52%. Must be because of a lot of images.
I think it’s because it counts the cover and all pages before the actual text even begins
That wouldn’t be enough to account for +6% gradually becoming +10%.
