100% agreed! If anything, after reading your thoughts on it, I kinda wish that the morse code couldn’t be deciphered and that the situation stayed ambigious.
For me, it didn’t feel very ambigious, because I didn’t even try to see it from a non-human perspective. It just felt horrifying, with him essentially being a prisoner with no way of communicating, in a body that has been failing for what must feel like an eternity. And Mashu doesn’t even seem to acknowledge any of that. I wonder if it’s a difference in how her race thinks, or if she was driven mad by the thought of him dying. And if Rojica even thinks about it, we don’t see that; the only one reflecting on the situation and how the husband might feel seems to be Rakkasei.
Very glad to hear that! It was similar for me; the first two chapters were nice, but it was the third one where I really started to get into the manga.
Oh, I was wondering if anybody would notice those things!

Can this be read as “That a recent matter, isn’t it?” That how I originally understood it, but it seems a fan translation disagrees (instead opting for “Who said I saw them recently?”) and the とっくに also seems to point in the opposite direction.

I read it as “Of course not recently”, which would conform with the next line “He ought to have died of old age long ago” (or something like that)

Jisho.org: Japanese Dictionary
According to this entry, 揃い when used as a suffix means “all” or “every one”, and I think the で is just the te-form for linking. So I interpreted this as しーさん saying that people of the famous plant race are all beautiful. (Edit: or famously beautiful)

I definitely sat down and finished this today. 
Definitely one of the top things I’ve read in JP so far. I’ll still be hanging out in the weekly threads to talk about things, but yeahhhh. This manga is fantastic, and I have zero self-control.

Best solution to wanting to take part in a ton of book clubs, but also wanting to read stuff you yourself want to read. Just get through everything in an afternoon, that way you don’t need to keep the weekly reading in mind.

Wow, I enjoyed the first two weeks of this manga in a “this is a nice light read” sort of way, and was absolutely not expecting this chapter to feel so vastly different.
But I’m definitely hooked now.
I got a genuine lump in my throat when I translated the wabun code. Wow.

p. 51: What (who?) is Agostini? Or maybe that’s not even the full name.
I googled it and the only thing that came up was a now dead Italian world class motorcyclist. I don’t think this is what it means?
Maybe it has something to do with the signposts from last time, reading なぞ (mystery) and 成り行き (course of events).

I agree with whoever said that they kind of wished the wabun code had actually been indecipherable. But then again I see why the mangaka did it that way too. Really good chapter, and I’m glad we got the illustration of them when they were young and happy at the end.
Also, Rojica’s idea of a beautiful person! So glad we got this insight into Rojica’s psyche.
