Welcome to the レンタルおにいちゃん reading club! The Absolute Beginner Book Club read through volume one of レンタルおにいちゃん. This offshoot reading club is to continue the following three volumes, through scheduled reading. Completed reading all four volumes [image45] What is this series? ▶ Summary Where can I…

I’m so glad to see this book club is still running. I’ve been busy with Life and missed reading most of the first volume along with you all, but I’m keen to catch up soon.

Hey friends, how is the Volume 2 book club going? I see that you guys are in the last week, so I’m wondering if there is a schedule for Volume 3? I read along the original Volume 1 club, and it was lots of fun and learning! Sadly for Volume 2 I was not able to read along, but I’d be really interest…

I’m planning on doing a post about volume three today or tomorrow, but it looks like we’ll be taking a one-week break after finishing this last week. This puts the volume 3 start date at February 12th. A whooooole lot happened in volume 2, so there’s quite a bit to catch up on! If you can make it…

The thread for volume 3 is up. As volume 2 finishes up, there’s a one week break, then volume 3 starts up. [image] レンタルおにいちゃん Volume 3 Book Clubs Volume 3 Discussion Thread Start Date: 2021-02-11T15:00:00Z (UTC) [レンタルおにいちゃん 3巻] レンタルおにいちゃん Reading Club Home…

Hi, I got these books in the mail about a week ago. I’m wondering if I could catch up in a week lol. It took me 3 days to read the first 2 chapters of vol 1 in about 3 or 4 settings. But I ended up reading chapter 3 in one setting yesterday. It is tempting to just hunker down and try to speed run th…

[image] Evil_Roy: I’m wondering if I could catch up in a week lol. On one hand, slowing down a bit may help the transition to reading at book club page (if you choose to do so), as it’ll be three weeks for volume 3’s first chapter, and two weeks per chapter from there. On the other hand, the…

I actually just downloaded the Vol 1 grammar and vocab list. Is the Vol 2 vocab list finished? I just want to be sure before downloading it. Good idea on slowing down! That will help a lot! This is the first book club of any kind I have ever been in, I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes. Sound…

Volume 1’s grammar and vocabulary lists were partially filled during the volume 1 book club. For the reading club, I prepared volume 2’s vocabulary list in advance, so it’s in a state that can be considered “done”. Actually, both volumes’ vocabulary lists are in the same spreadsheet . I’ll should …

That’s great! Much appreciated, it sounds like it’s a lot of work. Lastly, I know this isn’t the right place to ask this probably, but I just noticed that my level number is purple, and others are blue. I’m just curios why? Thanks again!
