メキシコ is the katakana for Mexico-- Mekishiko. How would a native Japanese speaker pronounce this? Would it be:
Mek-shi-ko
Me-ki-shi-ko
Me-kish-ko
Me-ksh-ko
or something different??

More generally, the /i/ in 「し」 will normally get devoiced, so I guess something like /me kish ko/ ?
