Hey everyone! This week we’ll be reading 1.5 chapters! It seemed like from active participants in the thread last week that there was a pretty overwhelming majority that would be able to keep up, and sentiments that the manga has been easier than expected, so I’ve elected to go with the fast schedule from here on out. If you aren’t feeling like stopping midway through the chapter definitely feel free to read to the end, but please keep your comments here limited to the selected pages for the week - thanks!
Please feel free to ask questions if you are struggling though - we don’t want to leave people behind if possible!

There was one handwritten part in chapter 4 that I thought I would type up just in case anybody had trouble parsing it!! unless no one needs it, then just ignore me haha

Lots of new vocabulary, and it has been interesting to see some I thought I knew used in a different context! Also, new things off vocab I know such as finishing blow 「止め」
Could someone help me out on the top left panel of page 48? I am not sure what the 「しやがって」means… I kind of get the sentence overall but am not sure where that fits in… I would translate it as: ”Pikachu is always making(?) a mess of my store’s products! I’m not going to permit it (to happen) anymore!”

In my digital version, the pokedex entries are pretty difficult to read. I think I’ve pieced together the entries for those who are interested
p.36 モルフォン
羽に鱗粉がついており、ヒラヒラと羽はたくたびに猛毒の粉をまさ散らす。生息数はさほと多くない。虫ポケモシのコンパンが進化した種類だということが確認されている。
p.53 ピカチュウ
森に住んでいるポケモン。ほっぺたの両側に電気の袋を持ち、敵にむけて放電する。数が少なく、なかなか見つけることができない。知能は高いといわれている。

Thank you! That clears things up… I was trying to search for しやがって as one word but that makes sense that it’s a combination like 仕上げる! (Which appears in this chapter as 仕上げ！ for “finishing touches”)
