So, 無鉄砲 means “rash; reckless”. Does this mean that before guns were brought to Japan, they were all 無鉄砲?

I enjoyed the story in this chapter, the setup of lucky ghosts in a hotel felt fun and unique and it was cute how Nicola got to know them and unknowingly helped the owner.
