When would you like to start reading?
I’m going to read at my own pace, so I have no preference on a start date.
Looks like we have one more week for anyone not caught up to catch up!
My goal will be two chapters of volume 19 per day. (Hopefully I don’t fall behind on day one.)
Volume 19 or 20?
Personal goal on volume 19. Which I didn’t have time for yet this weekend, so I’d better start those two chapters a day after work Monday!
I’d missed the “per day” and read it as “per week”.

Speaking of reading pace, for those who plan to (try to) read at a club pace starting this weekend, what paces would you feel comfortable with?
I think one per week is better so that there is a little less space in between volume readings. Also cause I have too many clubs and I need to calm down lol

It’s always the super upbeat ones that have the most tragic back stories. At first I thought her sudden idea that she should leave before she messes something up came out of nowhere, but with a past like that, it makes sense that her self valuation would be through the floor. Hopefully everyone else helps her through it in this volume.
Also, Patrick has some competition now! That also felt like something the chapter was setting up from the beginning, with the two of them alone on the rooftop. I think Patrick had mentioned he would seal his feelings away though, so maybe it won’t actually be a competition.

Sudden proposal! Well, I’m glad they’re not dragging things out. More people know about Sean’s feelings now too. Poor Patrick.
I was wondering if Louise was going to be like half transformed or something, but she looks fine! And Lou is mostly fine too. Good to see!
I thought I was going to find this chapter much more interesting than I did.
Sorry have realised that sounds quite sarcastic. I was just hoping for new plot developments rather than romance! Anticipated them finding おじいさん holed up in the room or something…
In a way it was quite a curve ball.
They’ve avoided showing Louise this whole time, and given that she turned into the Hulk at one point, I thought there was no way she was just back to normal.
Then we see her at the end of the previous chapter, and she looks fine. Then when Stella visits her in this chapter, she seems to be able to communicate just fine.
We’ve still only seen her face, so it’s possible she has some other aftereffects that aren’t immediately noticeable like Lou.
Still, I’m a sucker for romance stuff, so I was happy with the chapter

I’m glad Eve didn’t turn out to be a traitor, like I feared she might. But now I’m also starting to be disappointed with this volume. The last one made it seem like serious stuff was going to go down, but it’s been pretty low tension stuff lately. Hopefully things pick up soon.
Also, why is the text in the speech bubbles on the second panel down on the far left handwritten? I feel like usually that’s for extra text, but this is main dialogue.

I was unenthusiastic in my last post, but I had to exert some willpower to avoid reading the next chapter right away. I guess I’m a mark for well-worn plot twists like characters discovering they are siblings
