I didn’t realize Kate was looking down a hole into a bigger area when she was looking at the morphs. I thought she was looking into a pot or bucket, so I was surprised that the morphs were so small. I guess the branch should have tipped me off.
But there must be some variance in size. I feel like the one one of the big four had as a pet was the size of a toddler, and so was the one in a cage during the events of Mirror House. But if Kate was able to pass off as one, then there must be bigger ones as well.
Of course the one that likes swinging a branch around turns out to be John 
I wonder if he likes her so much because she gave him the branch.
It turned out she was right!
That is unironically so insanely cute. Chapter 102 was so cool. I only managed to finish reading the two chapters today unfortunately 
Am I safe to watch the anime now? From reading the episodes’ synopses I understand that we’re a bit beyond what the anime covers (at least for now, with the end of Season 2).
Yup, we’re several chapters past the end of the second season at this point.

I’m excited to get back to the present and see where things go from here.
Agreed. That was a pretty terrifying face, especially in contrast to her usual demeanor…
I liked seeing how Kate got here, and how things ended up as they have, but I’m excited as well to be back in the present and moving forward next week. It’s been a fun and necessary backstory, but now I’m ready to see how things progress!
I wonder how much time had passed ever since Kate got into the Shadow Manor up until the present moment

I remembered something recently. Didn’t we see Edward at some point with some long range shadow ears he could use to eavesdrop? How does he not just know everything that’s going on with Kate? Maybe there’s a range limit? I can’t exactly remember the context when we saw it.
I was reminded by considering all this important stuff they are discussing in Kate’s room, and how bad it would be if someone was listening in.
Do you remember when was that? I will try to find the scene.

That wasn’t Edward listening at the time - we were made to believe it was, but it was actually シャーりー.
It was in chapter 48. We see something black behind a knick knack in Kate’s room, then a white line leading to the hall, and then Edward. That made me think he was listening somehow. But the white line is Sherry’s speed line from her parkour. And the black fuzz was Sherry herself. Thanks for clearing that up.
Even though we went back to discuss this after Sherry’s situation was revealed, I didn’t connect it to my mistaken memory of Edward 
I only remembered it because I think @ChristopherFritz pointed it out at some point.
