よつばと! Reading club

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to start reading Japanees text and came across this post.
It seems interesting, and the support is awesome. But i do have a question.

What is the best place to order the books? I live in The Netherlands and i have no idea where to get the books in Japanees from.

I’m pretty sure this is covered in the opening post, but if not, surely the best place to start would be Amazon Japan?

ありがとうmarcusp,
I have Found them and orderd them.

FYI, I’ve been blazing through the volumes and am at Volume 11 now, so other than a few clarification questions, I will primarily be moderating and answering questions.

Aaaargh, life is so busy the only Japanese I’m still doing is WK. I still haven’t finished the last few pages of volume 3. But I’m going to shove everything else aside as much as I can and get back down to study. So I vote for this weekend!

I haven’t read the last chapter. :joy:

So, anyone reading Aqua/Aria have something to share? :eyes:

I don’t get it. Should we?

Like the raws or something. :eyes:

Raws? I’m sure I have no idea what you mean by that.

:sob: :weary:

Edit: :ok_hand:

Based on the poll results, we’ll be starting up again this weekend! I’ll post a thread later today for Volume 4.

Fantastic! Thank you so much!

PS - In the meantime, I think I might have got a bit ahead of myself here!

Now you kinda make me wanna go back to Kinokuniya and buy it…

Saw this poster while I was in Japan. Sadly, the thing started literally the day I landed back in Australia…

Oh no, I had no idea and missed it completely!

PS - the art work looks a bit different I think to the first few volumes (I have no idea what happens in between mind you!) but the drawings in there of Ometesando and Harajuku are worth the price of the book alone!

Yeah, Azuma-sensei improves quite a bit in skill over time. Even comparing volumes one and four of Azumanga Daioh, there’s a huge difference between them.
