At least the first week will probably be a single chapter so wencan start.
My poll for pace has been open for a month, so I just closed it. 8 and 9 weeks tied, so we’ll round up and go with 9 weeks. That means we’ll read one chapter per week for 4 weeks, then two chapters per week after that.

- Week 8 should be February
- Week 9 should have the 特別編 in addition to chapter 13

If you began your reading journey in the Absolute Beginner Book Club, you may recall how much time and effort it took to get through each page. One of the biggest hurdles at this stage is learning all the common grammar in everyday native material.
If you then moved up to reading material with furigana in the Beginner Book Club, the primary hurdle was likely keeping up with a faster pace. This is where you need to solidify your common grammar knowledge and familiarity with common vocabulary to build up pattern recognition.
If this is your first native material without furigana, the next challenge is recognizing vocabulary you already know but without the reading being provided.
For anyone who started with Colors, are you ready to dive into a more challenging work from the same mangaka?

Oops, I meant to manually add the bonus (my book club script only supports integers for chapter numbers, not names).
I have no idea how my script managed to put Jan 1 rather than Feb 1, but I’ll get that fixed on the top post as well!
