No. Maybe I will try that next time. I’ve never used amazon before. I was hoping to get it all from cdjapan, but they didn’t have the first couple of volumes. So I checked out german amazon, but I couldn’t find them in mint condition. In the end I went with amazon uk. I’m sure I’ll be fine whatever condition they are in, but I would have prefered to get brand new copies.

I don’t actually have it yet though, cos I had it sent it to my parent’s house in case it was a bit late (going there en route to holiday) 
but this means I can start reading from the very first date!

Ironically, the original print of Aria (not the Masterpiece edition, and not Aqua) also has landscape covers.

It’s a literal translation from French, so it might not be correct English 
like it should be accompanied by the alarm sound from metal gear solid (even though they only use an exclamation mark)
I bought volume 1. Tomorrow’s payday, then I’ll buy the follow-up ones. They’re all available as Kindle version it seems.
