I’ve wanted to read this series so I’m going to join you all! Might be a bit slow as I’m also reading another book but I’ll buy this book later and give it a go.

This looks like fun but BookWalker won’t sell it to me in Australia - anyone know if the other online stores have similar limitations? (Kinokuniya in Sydney is sold out, and I’d rather not engage in any VPN shenanigans.)
update: Booklive sold it to me.

I also live in Australia and don’t use a VPN at all and amazon.co.jp is my go to for Kindle books. I have an Amazon Japan account and I use my tenso.com address as my address.

I finally got my book. Bought it from amazon.co.jp and had it delivered to my address in Canada. I found it to be the cheapest option tbh.

Could you please each day put the last sentence of the page so we can find it on the ebook ?

I’m in! I’m sort of scientist by profession so books like this really gets me going. I might buy the three volumes in Amazon and read ahead 
(coz I need to stop reading manga and move on to reading books/novels)

This book looks so good! It’s impossible for me to read it along with you all - I’m so busy reading my current book I have no free time at all - but I will definitely pick it up one day. Nothing beats the fun and discipline of reading each day along with the club though.

I hope you don’t mind me asking, what kind of payment option you had? Is Amazon.co.jp accepting foreign credit card?
Would like to join so tentative ebook reader here. Guess I’ll read it online from BookLive; their iOS app must require a Japanese AppleID because I can’t see it from UK app store. Tentative because we have a baby due within the next couple of weeks

Just bought it from bookwalker as an ebook. It’s gonna be difficult for me but I’m excited to join and get reading!

It’s basically the same for Anroid. I think I had to change my location to Japan (with VPN) to be able to download it from the Google store.
If i remember well, you could just change the language of your iPhone to Japanese and download it, then come back to your original language and it will be still there. I did this for the Suica app
Tried changing both language and region to no avail. I did have my iPad on the Japanese app store previously but I had to use a VPN to setup a separate AppleID which breaks syncing to my iPhone so more of an inconvenience really. Thanks though.
Maybe I’ll try bookwalker as I can see that app.
Edit: Bookwalker app downloaded ok but have to use their website to purchase, ebook not available on “global” section so have to use their Japanese store. When checking out it says not available in my country. Back to reading online plan at BookLive me thinks.
I bought mine on Honto, the desktop app is good, but i didn’t found the app on my country app Store

@crumpet I just bought mine from bookwalker, I’m currently in Ukraine and bought it with a foreign card no problem. I bought it on the website while my VPN was connected to Japan. Then downloaded the app on my phone and worked fine.

Thank you! However, I don’t think this will work for everyone because the ebook “pages” can change depending on the font size and maybe even on the size of your screen. Also, my app doesn’t show page numbers but the progress in %.
