Yeah, seems like the text is the same just from looking a few pages into the previews. I have no idea why the price is different, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be a special offer. It if is part of a campaign or sale, there should be an end date right beside the price.

Probably the hardcover vs paperback versions again. I already bought the book during the last vote and got the cheaper one.

Had some bad news today…ok, that sounds like someone died, let’s start over. My offline, non-Japanese book club decided today that we’re going to read this book in May. So I‘ll have to somehow rush through this solo in the next 5 weeks, which means no opinion on the schedule.

This will be my fifth concurrent book club come the start date. I may have to make a weekly schedule to make sure I get all my club reads done :scream:

I just asked on the Bookwalker freebies thread yesterday and that seems to be the case (confusingly for digital). I compared the toc and page numbers - 100% the same, the second one is the “paperback” that came out a few years after hardback
