If you hold a mirror to it, it will be almost correct
I’ve been answering ‘duck’ everytime for the 氏 radical because there was the word ‘duck’ in the mnemonic. I kind of like ducks so maybe I just fixed on it. Just found out it actually doesn’t mean duck when I got it as a kanji for surname…
its not silly bad as much as it is unfortunate, I had 記事, and having forgotten it, I guessed a meaning based on the meaning of the first kanji, record. This is wrong but got accepted anyways, since its actual meaning is report. Another candidate for the blacklist, I feel.
Not a bad typo because of how far gone it is. But bad in how embarrassing it is for me. I was writing the kanji meaning for 席 as “seal” literally until guru 1 and I just found out doing the vocabulary that it’s “seat”. Maybe that should be added to the block list?
I agree. @Mods can it get added to the block list please?
Right in the beginning when I first reviewed the Radical 田 (rice paddy) I put in “Rice Patty”. Since I was positively reinforced and naturally didn’t read the message how I was a bit off, I continued putting in “Rice Patty”, even for the Kanji.
It was when I learned the Vocabulary version (“Rice Field”) that I realized how little sense “Rice Patty” really makes.
Hi there! No worries! I’ll send this off to the team and we will get it added to the block list for the kanji and the vocabulary.
上がっている群衆?
I actually just mentally swapped this meaning in my head with the kanji I did before it.
I have no idea how this was accepted.
I had no idea what I was looking at. I completely forgot this one so I put down a filler answer and well…
Maybe I should put money in the lottery…
