Your Name in Japanese

Thanks for the heads-up! I thought that I saw it on old-timey whiskey bottles while still being pronounced うぃ. I wonder if it is a dialect thing or a drift over time like how ち was romanized as si at one point. Either way, I should probably look for a name that won’t embarrass me in front of my peers. Or go all out and just use hetaigana so no one understands it (`ω´ )
