I really like that’s it’s possible to write your own mnemonics in the Notes sections. Occasionally the official ones are too much of a stretch for me to picture, so I get a little creative. My favorite so far is the one for “inside”. The reading for 内 is ない, and the kanji looks like a person in a TV, so I just picture Bill Nai The Science Gai. Gai also happens to be the reading for outside, so that works brilliantly.

I really really suck at remember when something is supposed to be だい/たい or し/じ etc. One to FINALLY help me remember 大役 is: when going to work it is an IMPORTANT TASK to TIE たい your tie
