Why isn't "to reexamine" accepted for 見直す?

I’m a bit confused as to why only “to reevaluate” is accepted as a legitimate meaning for 見直す and not also “to reexamine”. As in my experience, the two terms are used nearly interchangeably. Its not a huge deal, but it has tripped me up somewhat and is a tad confusing. Could this be fixed? Or is there a good reason why its like that?

You can add that as a synonym. It is definitely a valid meaning.

Usually when things are not included it’s simply because WaniKani can’t add every synonym, even if it seems like an obvious one, maybe they just didn’t think of it at the time.

Thank you! I actually didn’t know you could add synonyms yourself, so that’s on me but thank you for the info!
