Why is "resident" for 住 a blocked synonym?

Like the topic title says. Resident is blocked as a meaning but as park of "住人” it means resident. Having address as in “住所” is accepted as a synonym so I don’t see why not resident?

“It’s a ****ing resident” uncensored just got accepted though, so I guess that’s my work around.

EDIT: “residents” is accepted. Surely this must be a bug, if so hopefully this topic will bring it attention.

Yeah, you can’t even argue that they wanted you to focus on the verb meaning, considering “dwell” and “dwelling” are both accepted.

One for the @Mods

“Resident” is indeed blocked. I’m fairly certain this is to ensure the kanji is associated with a physical location rather than a person/title, but I’ll bring it up with the content team to see if they’d like to reconsider.
