Why doesn't WK teach the しょく reading for 色?

I just ran into the word 三色 and was shocked to discover yet another reading that Wanikani doesn’t cover at all.

They wanted to trip you up on that word.

The kanji page on Wanikani does show that reading, it just doesn’t test you on it because it looks like WK doesn’t teach you any vocab that uses that reading. I’m going to guess that its probably relatively rare reading on the whole? いろ and しき look much more common.

無色 is pretty common though

It’s not a rare reading. I just don’t really see much reason to ask why they don’t have a particular reading here. If someone emails them the suggestion, there’s a chance it would get into an upcoming content update.

Is there an official place to email them with content suggestions?

Its a good suggestion. Just like the おう reading for 黄 and the りょく reading for 緑
A relatively common word you see is 緑黄色野菜 green vegteables or caratine high vegetables. Though 緑黄色 by its self is basically just yellowish green but with yasai its something youll see often enough that itd be nice to know those readings. りょくおうしょく
