I know that, but I don’t want to press it 200 times…
embe said...Could anyone write a script that always opens up item information after an answer?@embe,
I'm away from my computer at the moment (I'm on tablet), but my adaptation of Kyle Coburn's Lightning Mode script has all the pieces you need. Maybe you can cobble something together before I get to my PC.
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/12853-wanikani-lightning-mode
Line 121 opens the info upon answering wrong. So, you can:
* Copy that line into the 'correct' answer section.
* Assuming you don't want lightning mode:
- Remove the other code in the 'correct' answer section.
- Remove everything in main() before "ignore = false;"
- Remove the addStyle() and process_settings() functions.
- Rename the script to something useful on line 2
I want a user script that allows me to like, upvote, +1, whatever you call it, posts that people make.
The number of times I’ve wanted to like a post from you rfindley, or Mempo, BreadstickNinja, or any other member that genuinely contributes to the community, is too damn high!
I don’t expect that a feature like this will be added to the forum officially, so it would be nice IMO.
Anyway, until anything like this ever comes to the forum, thank you for your help!
@rfindley,
Thanks, got it to work.
Is there, or can someone please write, a script that allows me to create a subgroup of words from multiple chapters and self study them in one place?
Is there anything that points out the actual practical position of various words in modern Japanese?
参る, for example, is taught as to come or to go. However, if you use this it makes you sound like an 18th century samurai.
Or 望む (to hope) isn’t really used by anyone under the age of 70 these days so you sound weird when you use it.
So, is it possible to make something that points out if its a crazy outdated word or a polite/honorific way of speaking or anything like that? My Japanese colleagues do find it hilarious when I speak like an ancient Daimyo but its not entirely practical in modern Japan…
I would like someone to fix this script please! /t/Collapse-nested-quotes-userscript/2658/1
(assuming it’s not only me who it doesn’t work for… I know it works if you’ve had it for ages)

I want to request a script that removes Kanji name from the kanji itself from lessons.

I want to request a script that removes Kanji name from the kanji itself from lessons.Took me a moment to understand what you're asking for there, but I think I get it and...I think that's a really good idea. You mean remove the English from the coloured section, right? I like to cycle through the items a few times in lessons before clicking continue and my current rather old school technique during that process has been covering part of the screen with a bit of paper.

Will make separate thread
Works for vocab. But I wonder what’s it for?

@mraleeex, you’re looking for rfindley’s Burn Manager.
.
Hi! I would like to learn my textbook vocab the same way I learn vocab on WaniKani.
So I’m looking for an iOS app or a website, which allows me to create my own vocab lists for my textbook and review it with TYPING test (I use handrawing keyboard which alows me to draw kanji with my finger). Built in SRS is appreciatable too.
Now I use Memrise for that purpuse, but I hate its “choose one” tests, which can’t be disabled.
Any suggestions?

Also, you can adjust Anki so you type the answer in, I think there's a guide on this forum somewhere... Here! /t/AnkiWaniKani-20/9751/1
