Something like Wanikani Real Score just for the dashboard would be nice. Right now it’s unsupported and I have to manually update the total items any time Wanikani introduces new items and cross my fingers that someone with more coding knowledge than me posts a fix any time a website update breaks the script. I got the current one fixed up just enough to work on the dashboard half the time thanks to the suggested fixes in the thread, but I don’t think I have enough time or experience to maintain it myself.
Here’s what I got the current one edited to look like to get an idea of what I want:
For a stretch request, I’d like an option to show the score taking into account SRS intervals such that points are represented like this:
Apprentice 1: 12 points (for a decent base).
Apprentice 2: 4 points (for the 4 hour interval).
Etc.
All the way up to 2880 points for burned (for the 4 month/120 day interval) for a grand total of 4200 points per item as a way to more properly reflect the time progress of items.
I found the original script very motivating because of how granularly it conveyed overall progress by paying attention to cumulative SRS levels gained instead of moment-to-moment SRS passes/fails and I don’t want that utility to end up buried.
