I was lucky enough to be on holiday in Japan while I was reading through this which was lovely. The sound of semis felt like a very appropriate background noise. It also means a very long flight home has entirely wiped it from my mind… but my overarching impression was that it was very sweet.

I wonder whether the book she’s looking for is some kind of Chekhov’s gun or just a side quest.

And finally we know what the grey pages are!!! Super curious if it will tie back in to the main story somehow? Or will it just be another book inside the first book …?
