I felt like this story didn’t make much sense but okay. We spend time learning that if someone sees you doing the ritual then you die basically because the other lady had a heart attack, but instead of that happening, S apparently turns into straw/gets replaced by a doll version? Hmmm.

I have gotten a spurt of energy for Japanese again!! will it last long? who knows.

Yeah I did not understand this story either. Did it go wrong because he used multiple old straws maybe?
