Most manga, especially serialised, will find its way into a volume release at some stage. Obviously this only happens when there are enough chapters to create a volume (in the realm of 4-10 usually, depending on how long the chapters themselves are). It’s not always instant after enough chapters have been released, there can be a bit of wait time. Usually interest has more influence on how long a series runs for overall - if a series isn’t able to attract an audience then it is likely to be cancelled. Interest could also affect how many copies are printed overall (due to printing costs), but digital isn’t affected by that. Sometimes the volume releases add a couple of extra bonuses (extra illustrations, etc), or will retouch a few things from the original serialised release (this doesn’t happen all the time but can be used to correct mistakes that slipped through and that kind of thing)
Manga in Harta Alta is no exception, and will receive volume releases (both digital and physical). But you should probably expect it to be a little while before you see the first volume come out
Worth keeping in mind, chapter 2 is the first chapter that will be time limited, so if you haven’t started yet you still have a chance to keep up with the chapters as they come out. Chapter 1 is still available to read (and will remain available).
Nice start, although a bit (a lot actually) overshadowed for me by the lingo challenge level
I like the humour of this mangaka in 6 Survivors and a bit of that came through, eg, in the scene where Fuji is getting questioned and she wants to take off her jacket and clothes for the torture part
If it keeps up the dark humour I’m up for it. If it turns into a more systematic whodunit I might not have the stomach for the challenge level right now.

Ok we’re getting the investigation starting now - and Fuji’s first move is to go to the biggest gossip in the school. The panel with all of the messages pinging between the students was interesting to read since it’s obviously quite casual and slangy (there was also ダンチ earlier in the chapter which I discovered is a shortening of 段違い)
The basketball scenes were pretty fun, I enjoyed seeing a bit more of other students’ powers in use. I imagine we’ll see more as the investigation progresses, but it’s a nice way to show some of them off in a more concrete way
Fuji’s dream was weird - why’s it a diner? And why’s she being squished into a burger? And what’s the porpoise of the dolphin there? Sorry, couldn’t resist. I wonder if that’ll come back later
Fuji choosing to go all the way to the tennis court to avoid Hara overhearing, only for the informant to be Hara was a fun gag. Seems like Fuji is a planner/schemer, and I love those kinds of characters

Hmmm, the dream was very mysterious but had cool art! I liked how the gossip spread throughout the school but then it was revealed to be part of Fuji’s plan all along
I vibed through that panel bigtime Luckily the rest of the chapter was pretty normal, thought it was overall a bit easier than the first chapter.
Thanks for the reminder. I, uh, screenshoted the whole thing so I could run it through Mokuro and have it if I needed it longer but that’s a good reminder that I should read it.
Oh the drama, the plot is thickening now. The early lecture bit was a little tough to understand but I got the gist more or less, but the real meat of the chapter was the scene where 藤 and 原 go to investigate 百 and that was cool. I really do like how much of a schemer 藤 is turning out to be overall
And I have to wonder about 七 and 心 sitting outside of 百’s practice room. Are they watching 百 or 藤? I’m sure this will come back up later
I do find it interesting that it seems like the students picked their specialisations, rather than it being a case of everyone having a different power because that’s just how they are. It does imply somewhat that given enough time someone could learn the skills that someone else has maybe? And that they probably all have some baseline skills. It is a fun idea for a school setting to essentially have it be their areas of research though
I wish they still kept the second chapter, I was so confused by the start of chapter 3 and it would be a great moment to go back and ask why did the transition happen ^^
but that’s a good reminder that I should read it.
