When switching to my Japanese Android keyboard, for some reason, it will only go into QWERTY, and refuse 12 key. Is this intentional? 12 key works perfectly elsewhere. I’m using WK for WaniKani if that’s making the difference.

I’m not sure if it’s meant to do that on Android, but it’s definitely designed to be used without a Japanese input method - that way you don’t have to change back and forth between English and Japanese constantly during reviews.

Waikani has its own IME. It expects entry with English keyboards.

That shouldn’t be intentional. I have an android and I use the japanese keyboard on the app and on the website on my phone.

I use the mobile website with Google’s Japanese flick keyboard no issue.
