I don’t know why it happens, but as long as this script is active, the other won’t work, won’t show anything. I’m of course also posting this on said script’s page.
I know, you just told me in the other thread
The problem was that I used a bugged version of the Custom Icons library script in Advanced Context Sentence 2. This should be fixed now, so you just have to update Advanced Context Sentence 2 to version 2.24.
Hi,
I am new to Wanikani and some very kind folks helped me out by telling me about Advanced Context Sentence 2. I was looking for a text to speech converter. I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers so even though I had some good advice it took me some time to figure out how to get it to work but eventually I got it working. I work on a MacBook Air and I installed in Safari. So first of all thank you or abdullahalt for writing such a helpful script. I would like to ask two questions if I may. The first one is that sometimes it acts like it isn’t installed and I don’t get any text to voice or the other cool features. My Tampermonkey dashboard shows that it is installed and enabled. Sometimes if I turn it off and turn it on again and it starts to work and other times it doesn’t. Any advice would be most welcome. And for my second question, is there any way to slow down the playback? I realize that it is at the normal speed for native speakers. But if I could play it back at 1/2 speed it would really help me improve my listening skills. But in any case thanks for your good work.
Nice script - this means I will now do my new items in a browser and only the reviews in the android app.
My experience on Firefox is that there is no hover popup unless you do the Optional: [Open Framework JLPT, Joyo, and Frequency filters](https://community.wanikani.com/t/35096)
step.
Which is fine. Just saying to stop people trying to solve this elsewhere (FF config, the code, etc).
P.S. it is working for me in android Firefox too (on a Samsung tablet).
