User-scalable=no in meta-viewport

Hello,

Thanks for Wanikani, it’s a very good way to learn for me.

Could you explain me the rationale behind the fact that you have implemented maximum-scale=1.0 and user-scalable=no in the site’s meta viewport tag?

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no">

It prevents user zooming in mobile conditions and I find it greatly decreases usability on tablet or mobile. After a review, the items in the “Answered correctly” and “Answered incorrectly” are very small and being able to zoom would be really useful.

I know you don’t wish to support mobile devices, but using this viewport settings means actively worsening their experience: Quick tip: Never use maximum-scale='1.0' - The A11Y Project
